4.3 million ordered by vaccination sites since made available.
The Department of Health and Human Services has delivered more than 4 million doses of the 4.3 million doses of children’s COVID-19 vaccines requested by vaccination sites across the country. HHS spokesperson said last week that the department will continue to take orders for the foreseeable future.
“We made 10 million doses of vaccine available for ordering initially, with millions more available soon, so supply should not be a barrier to someone getting their young child vaccinated,” the spokesperson said. There are nearly 20 million children below the age of 5 in the United States. Vaccines for this age group are now available at pharmacies, doctor’s offices, and children’s hospitals.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Becerra to seek God’s guidance as he oversees vaccine distribution.
- For wisdom for parents and guardians who are considering inoculations for their children.
